The Irony of Much Thought
It is precisely when I cannot, must not spend time on a creative endeavor that the urge to create strikes me at its most insistent. This is a most unpleasant paradox.

I've experienced this phenomenon; sometimes I drop my current activity to fulfill the creativity.
I echo you one hundred percent. My creative effort generally mean a sacrifice of something else, and this sacrifice is far too often my studies.
