Playwriting

I have now completed my second ten-minute play, which doubles as the first ten-minute play of mine with which I am, to at least some degree, satisfied.
I'm discovering that, as with my academic writing, the wall I tend in creative writing to hit is that of elaboration. I write for a bit, plot points, descriptions, and dialogue flows, and then I'm done. I've said it, I say to myself. I write the essay--thesis, support, conclusion. It's said, and I'm done. And then I get back the essay, and I find some words in red that intimate that the professor would appreciate more detail, more elaboration. Thus it also goes in my creative writing.
All this to say, I'm eying the one-act I'll have to write by the end of the semester with some apprehension.

Hang in there. :D Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I had the same fear during my semester of playwriting.
